JOHN
COMER

It was in 1956 that John
moved to Southern California where he grew
up surfing the beaches of Orange County and
hiking the arroyos and hills. He received his
first box of oil-paints on his thirteenth birthday,
and has spent his life pursuing his passion…painting.
His professional career began in 1968 and has
been intermingled with sailing/painting voyages
to the Caribbean, Central America, Islands
of the Pacific and Africa.
